British Council Projects

The British Council International School Award supports participating school in embedding international learning into the curriculum. It helps teachers open a window onto other cultures and bring the world to their classrooms and form a partnership with schools overseas to teach their students about life in other countries and develop them as global citizens. 

in 2012 , we participated in the International School Award (ISA) and were among the 14 schools that won the ISA award. It was an opportunty for us to work with schools from overseas such as Turkey , Sultana of Oman  and Azerbadjan.

Detailed information of the results of each activity.

Activities :  1-This is Me ,  2-My Family ,  4-My Town/City

   We colaborated with Mrs.Huri Cinar from Cahit Elginkan High school , Turkey.

 We finished our activities and exchanged the outcomes. Students exchanged their emails and facebook adresses to get in contact after the project.

 We also decided to continue our partnership next schol year .

Activity : 3- My School

 We colaborated with Mrs.Shukufa Najashuva from Ismail Hasanov school , Azairbaidjan.

 We exchanged our product outcomes but we didn’t exchange our school uniforms due to financial problems.

Activities : 5- Our Cuisine , 6- Our Table Manners

 We collaborated with Mrs.Asma Elberiki from Atika school for Post Basic Education , Oman.

We exchanged our final product outcome.

Activity 7 : Earth Day.

  We participated in a project called Our Organic Garden , facilitated by Ms.Cindea Hung from Taiwan. We grew crops using the healthy compost , we also participated in the cleanup campaign.

  We didn’t visit the agriculture school due to schedule problems.Nor did we participate in the Video conference on Eluminate due to the fact that our school doesn’t have access to net.

 We hope to overcome these hurdles next year as we are going to engage our students in the Organic Garden project and other environment projects.

 
                                                   ISA Award Ceremony
    The British Council invited us to attend the ISA award ceremony that took place in the Zerktouni center in Agadir on Wednesday 17th February 2016 .
   The awards were handed by Mr.John Mitchell , Director of the British Council.

  The jury decided to grant the Award of the International school Award (ISA) to 14 high and middle schools belonging to 3 academies ( Meknes-Tafilalet , Souss Massa Deraa , Doukkala Aabda ) Four of the schools belong to Meknes-Tafilalet . They are as follows : Yaacoub El Mansour middle school ,Agourai (teacher : Mr.Said Belgra) , Mohammed El Meknassi high school , Meknes (teacher : Mrs.Bouchra zouakia) , Atlas middle school , El Hajeb (teacher: Mr.Mustapha Boulmani) , and Prince Mly Abdalla middle school , Khenifra ( teacher: Mr.Mohammed Derouich), eight school from Souss Massa and two from Doukkala Abda .
